The best horror film ever - and possibly just best film ever.... Period !!!
The cinemaphotography is out of this world, the mood set by the lighting, the acting is amazing... everything just worked.
Every horror film that has come out since, is measured against The Exorcist.
So far, none have come close to surpassing it.
