Caitlin Cronenberg debut feature. A high concept contained thriller with a slash of social commentary. I loved it for all those reasons with some bonus points for some of the practical gore. Jay Baruchel, Peter Gallagher both felt note perfect. I also liked Alanna Bale’s performance. Outside of that, I was mixed on the rest of the casts’ performances. Perhaps that’s more of a script issue. Not all of the character turns / shifting motivations felt completely earned. A lot to like though, and I’m all for the expanding Cronenberg film universe.
