The Timekeepers of Eternity is essentially a re-edit of the Stephen King made for tv movie (mini-series) The Langoliers that aired in 1995. More than just a re-edit though, the entire film is reprinted on copy paper and re-animated together infusing some edits with literal tearing of the paper-prints. The torn paper motif plays well with Toomey’s (Bronson Pinchot) obsessive paper-tearing when confronting his childhood traumas. It’s a really cool experimental film edit that gives the film a heightened feeling of unease in addition to trimming much of the originals bloated runtime.
