Very surprised with Paradise, a series that defies expectations in each episode and offers an immersive thriller full of clever narrative twists. From the first moment, the story captivates with an intriguing premise that unfolds with an impeccable rhythm. Look, it's been years of watching movies and series, and for a series to become addictive due to its unexpected twists is, for me, striking. Each episode presents a perfectly justified twist within the plot. These are not gratuitous twists, but revelations that give greater depth to the story and its characters, the latter a great asset of the series. Therefore, it is better not to know much about what it is about and let yourself be surprised. The cast of Paradise brings to life strong, multidimensional characters, each with clear motivations and credible development throughout the series. But if there is something that really stands out, it is the performance of its leading trio, in particular James Marsden, who, after years typecast in supporting roles, finds here his great opportunity to shine. His performance is brilliant, showing that he is an actor with much more to offer. Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson give their characters an emotional depth and credibility that elevate the series to another level. The series takes its time revealing the characters' motivations.
