The Fantastic Four: First Steps

The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel's First Family is forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, while defending Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.

Let’s see here… The retro-futuristic vibe was FANTASTIC-
Say that again….
-in my opinion, the score was amazing, Galactus was incredible, the acting was phenomenal, especially for Reed, Sue, and Shallah-Bal! I’ve heard it was too predictable but I didn’t think it was, I heard the cgi was bad but I thought it was great outside of one scene (but I see why they couldn’t make it good in that scene), cinematography was well done, interesting tone of the movie. We got two superhero movies in a row that aren’t afraid to embrace the wacky elements! This isn’t bad- but it felt like it could pass with a PG rating. It felt very family friendly, it wasn’t violent or sweary. It had action, but I wouldn’t say violence. That doesn’t work for every movie, like it wouldn’t work for thunderbolts or whatever, but it was just right for this one. If you’re hoping for a dark and gritty fantastic four film… go watch the crap 2015 one. MARVEL’S BACK BABY
