I must admit that I had a really good time with this. The dry sarcastic humor is completely up my alley. Jon Hamm is really inspired casting and he works really well here. I don’t remember much from the Chevy Chase films, so I’m not bound by any allegiance to those. I can only speak to this version which is a fun and funny mystery/caper.
Vibe was similar to The Kid Detective from 2020 which I loved. If you liked that flick, you might enjoy this one as well.
