Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa's death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for their nation.

BP:WF feels more like a tribute than anything else, and it's unfortunate how that starts to detract from the film as a whole. Namor and the people of Atlantis should've been done better, as their entire race is quite interesting and pose a unique challenge to the rest of the MCU's greatest (given that Namor-616 was backed by the Fantastic Four to get his throne back).
I really did appreciate Shuri's fight within herself and the various blows she's been dealt throughout, and her rise to prominence is emotionally wrenching (in a good way). But with so much of the film steeped in politics and a significant detatchment from the larger MCU, Wakanda Forever ends up losing steam. It feels a lot like one of those movies that could've been an email.
