A sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday's attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago - all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
I honestly don’t even remember exactly when I started watching Wednesday — it feels like forever ago. I was an early teen back then, and the only reason I even thought of watching it was because it was everywhere on the internet. Every single one of my friends had already seen it, and I guess that made me realize how far behind I was when it came to shows and series. So, that’s where my whole journey with series actually began. At that time, I wasn’t someone who could stick to watching one thing — I had never really completed a full series before. I started with one episode, told myself I’d watch more later, and then left it, picked it up again, and repeated that cycle for a while. I honestly feel a bit ashamed that I couldn’t even finish such a short series in a week. But once I got into it, I was hooked. It was a completely different experience for me — the kind of show that opens the door to another world, where people had magical abilities and lived lives so different from ours. It was fascinating. And when it comes to characters, I’m genuinely glad I watched it because Enid truly stood out. She wasn’t just a side character — she was the comfort one. I absolutely loved her energy. She was warm, funny, and full of life. I loved her friendship with Wednesday even more than any romantic subplot like Xavier or Tyler. That bond between the two girls was the highlight of the series for me. It was so real, so raw. All in all, Wednesday was something new, something magical, and definitely worth watching.
