Irish folk horror that excels in it’s creepy, unsettling atmospheric build-up, but could have benefitted from more frequent (or even more intense) true horror moments. With her mother seemingly grappling with mental illness Charlotte (Hazel Doupe) is left navigating her teens in a small town and is continually harassed by bullies as a result of it. The performances and drama are compelling on all fronts. As a slow burn, I was hoping this would build to a bit more in the end.
