Aliens from space plan to conquer the world using space monsters Gigan and King Ghidrah, which they control from their secret headquarters inside the head of the Godzilla-replica building at a theme park. The only thing that can stop them is the combined efforts of Godzilla and Anguirus.

One of the coolest monsters that only gets cooler as the franchise goes on, Gigan suffers the same as most of the era with how little screentime the titular monster gets. What screentime he does get however, is diabolical and bloody in ways Godzilla rarely ever is. Unfortunately the rest of the film also exists, but its still worth watching the once so you can catalogue Gigan for his spectacular return down the line.
