The WAY to measure...
1. First and foremost – IS the movie entertaining??? this means was it FUN??? This is the highest and most valuable point to make.
2. Second – Is the movie plot and set up presented in a way that makes sense and is the story cohesive???
3. Are the characters likeable and reasonable – Do these characters have a good backstory or a backstory at all? and do they make decent decisions? Or are they completely annoying?
4. Is the movie too predictable? – No one likes to feel ripped off when they watch a movie – this is an overstep on the directors part and the movies need to be more than – oh i know what’s going to happen now…
5. Lastly would I take a friend to see it? If I would take my buddies or a date to see it then I would recommend it.

SO THE REVIEW...
Was it entertaining and FUN?
Yes, it feels like a traditional zombie flick but as it digs deeper into the story its not at all what you expect. Its an intense, and by all other measures a great horror flick, with just the right amount of actual horror to keep things tense.
Is the plot cohesive?
Absolutely. The story makes sense in a way that is both interesting and unexpected, with strong pacing and a plot that keeps you invested wondering whats going on.
Are the characters likable?
For sure. The lead is relatable, the villains feel strangely predictable but then, it kicks you in the chest with the reality of the movie and the backstories make their choices feel entirely believable.
Is it predictable?
It FEELS very predictable until its NOT. The twists are cleverly hidden and keep you guessing until the VERY end.
Would I take a friend to see it?
100%. It’s a crowd-pleaser that’s perfect for a movie night with friends, or a maybe date.
