Lora Hart manages to land a job in a hospital as a trainee nurse. Upon completion of her training she goes to work as a night nurse for two small children who seem to be very sick, but something much more sinister is going on.

"Night Nurse" has two stories: one in which Barbara Stanwyck goes through training, somehow showing lots of skin, and the other in which she battles a bad guy aptly played by Clark Gable. It's nice to see a strong woman in a film from this time.
