I can see why it’s highly regarded amongst slasher films but outside of that world it’s only OK. The killer isn’t hard to figure out if you know the Morgan Freeman rule. It is strange, in 2025, to see how close the 50s were to the 80s. You know Farley Granger began every conversation on set with, “… well when I worked with Hitch…”
