The scientist father of a teenage girl and boy accidentally shrinks his and two other neighborhood teens to the size of insects. Now the teens must fight diminutive dangers as the father searches for them.

They just don't make movies like this any more. Yes, it's the nostalgia talking but this is still a children's classic. If they made this movie now in 2025 it'd be a garbage CG fest. I watched this so many times as a child I just simply couldn't get enough of this film. I even remember building my own shrink ray and nearly electrocuting myself before my dad stopped me sticking a wire in to a power socket. I think if this movie can have that kind of effect on me it must be good. Theres some great animation in this film, good special fx for the time, puppetry and scenery. The acting isn't bad either really for a kids film and there are some pretty emotional scenes too which are surprising. Definitely check it out.
