A fantastic film for its time — truly a classic.
While the CGI hasn’t aged particularly well (as with many movies from that era), the sense of adventure and suspense still hold up.
The story around the mysterious board game and the question of “what will the next roll bring?” keeps you glued to the screen for the entire 90 minutes.
Robin Williams adds a special kind of charm, balancing the film’s darker and more intense moments with warmth and humor.
It’s an exciting, slightly spooky, but ultimately fun movie that still captures that ‘90s magic.
