My Dead Friend Zoe is a raw, emotional journey that explores the impact of suicide in a way that’s rarely seen on screen. The film refuses to simply brush past the topic with the usual “death by suicide” label. Instead, it dives deep into the unspoken truth: that soldiers return from war, civilians face their daily battles, and yet we all are expected to simply cope and be okay. This movie challenges that, showing us the fragility beneath the surface. It’s a haunting reminder that we need to talk about mental health, not just pretend everything is fine. Just WOW. Must watch.
