This movie was a fever dream. Not a bad movie by any stretch, but certainly a look at a sad and lonely individual who is crippled by a lack of boundaries and an inability to self-reflect on his own actions and how they impact the people around him.
From that lens, it becomes clear that Tim Robinson knows exactly how and what kind of person he is targeting here, and his character is a clear extension of the same character he plays in his shows. Paul Rudd is a gem, and continues to be in this movie.
