An upgrade in most ways from it's predecessor. Instead of 'technology bad' they dovetail it into Allison Williams' journey as a parent and then it sort of became an Upgrade (2018)-flavoured comic book movie. It takes on a little too much but overall still pretty in to the real MCU - the M3gan Cinematic Universe.
