Nutcrackers

Nutcrackers
In the most unlikely of places, four siblings find a loving shelter in an unexpected turn of circumstances. This endearing comedy-drama draws inspiration from actual events and deftly crafts a gripping story that unites everyone.

I stopped at the halfway part. There are few nice things I can say about this movie. It's bad, but not in a "so bad it's funny" sort of way. There are no bad jokes because there are no jokes. They basically took Bad Daddy but took out any comedic elements, and instead of one rowdy kid, there are four. And I'm not saying that it *needs* to be a comedy, but the movie is literally called Nutcrackers and there's not any real sense of tension or drama either. It just sort of exists. But they pointed the camera in the right direction and the actors (children aside) knew their lines and hit their marks so 1.5 stars it is. The bonus .5 star is for what the second half of the movie *could* be, but chances are, I'll never find out.
