A really enjoyable mystery, and it's insane that it's based on true events.
The movie has a weird tonal shift in the first half and goes from what seems like a straight up comedy to an increasingly dark and disturbing thriller. So for the first little bit I was having trouble trying to parse what the filmmakers were going for: whether the Agent Said character is actually a great detective, or if it's an Inspector Clouseau situation, luckily it's the former and they reign in the buffoonery pretty quick.
After watching this and RRR, I believe Indian films will be increasing in my watchlist. 💯👍
