A martial artist stops a street gang from stealing her car, but her grandmother ends up being killed by the same gang. She witnesses firsthand how corrupt and inept law enforcement is, and decides to take matters into her own hands.

Alley Cat has everything I love about low budget action. Obviously some Death Wish similarities with a dash of sleaze. It's nothing new in the American martial arts pictures set in grimy cities but that doesn't matter. That type of formula alone is enough to please me.
