The concept of seeing 90% of the movie through the eyes of the slasher is a good idea, but the execution was poor due to being way too literal with forcing the audience to see plodding through woods, to the point that it was extremely pretentious. The kills are well done, one in particular is horrifying and kinda saves the movie, but this is really only for the most dedicated slasher fans. Even the general horror fan may not be able to sit through the Lord of the Rings level of walking to get to the kills.
