This does not come close to Jackie’s best movie or craziest movie, but this was his big introduction to the West and is almost perfect in that regard. Up until this movie, Americans associated action with big beefy body builders covered in oil and shooting comically large guns. Seeing Jackie do his own stunts blew us away and redefined what action movies are supposed to be. Again this is no masterpiece and is nothing special compared to what Jackie had done previously, but this movie is important because it changed the game for the genre in Hollywood and instantly gave him international stardom.
