Maze Runner: The Death Cure

Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.
Watching Maze Runner: The Death Cure felt like sprinting through a collapsing dystopia with explosions at your heels and betrayal around every corner. As the final chapter in the trilogy, it throws everything at the wall—high-stakes action, emotional farewells, and a desperate scramble for answers. Dylan O’Brien leads the charge with intensity, and while the plot sometimes feels bloated and the pacing uneven, the opening train heist alone is worth the price of admission. The film doesn’t quite stick the landing narratively, and some character arcs feel rushed or unresolved, but the visceral energy and visual grit kept me hooked. Based on my own experience, I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5. It’s flawed, sure—but it delivers enough adrenaline and closure to satisfy fans who’ve stuck with the series.
