Seems like it's the cool thing now to like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 like it's the new Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. Suppose I can't be mad about the recent love, this is the best film in the franchise and I'll say that until I die. The first sequel does everything it can to produce its own identity away from the original, exceeding not only that but laying down something never seen before and never really have again.
Experiencing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is similar to experiencing a carnival fun house. Stunning sets of the lair are masterful brimming of detail. Zany chainsaw dancing, gore, and one of the best characters ever- Chop Top. Him and his metal plate make you uncomfortable. Everyone actually is just yelling and screaming literally the entire time. The radio station break in scene is just marvelous and the true highlight of the film.
Hate it all you want but you can't deny the passion and uniqueness put into this picture.
