John Le Carre's brilliant book turned into this brilliant, greatly under rated, and heart breaking film. Based on true story it, as most of Le Carre's work, showcases how horrid humans actually are in juxtaposition to how beautiful humans can be. Fiennes as Quayle as the love driven grey civil servant uncovering the many layers of corruption and unethical testing, really showcases one of our times greatest actors. Weisz as Tessa who's been overshadowed by her fantastic role in The Mummy demonstrates how much more she is than that role.
Again, this is a really beautiful film that showcases the heart of darkness we live in.
