As time goes on, the message of this movie never ceases to be profound. No matter what side of the political aisle you find yourself on, "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" will make you hunger for a better America, while still giving you hope for our country. Its ruthless without being cruel, honest without being preachy.
Why? Because it's sincere. A must watch for any Jimmy Stewart fan, right up there with "It's a Wonderful Life".
Have your kids watch it with you, and maybe we can create a world like this one.
