Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday
Mother and daughter bicker over everything -- what Anna wears, whom she likes and what she wants to do when she's older. In turn, Anna detests Tess's fiancé. When a magical fortune cookie switches their personalities, they each get a peek at how the other person feels, thinks and lives.

This was such a great Disney comedy that was adapted from the book, Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers. I really liked watching Freaky Friday (August 6, 2003). I have just watched it twice on Disney+ now. I watched it for the first time on Disney+ around April 2022, & now again tonight on Disney+ with my friends at the church for movie night on July 28, 2025. I remember that Anna & Tess Coleman have switched bodies through most of the movie when they were so confused and upset. Anna loves being a rockstar with her friends in the movie, & Tess is the therapist asking depressed people questions. I noticed when they went to bed after waking up, their bodies changed & I heard them scream which was so embarrassing to them. I loved some of the songs in this movie like What I Like About You by Lillix, & ...Baby One More Time by Bowling for Soup, & What a Wonderful World by Joey Ramone, & those songs that I knew were cover versions. This is one of the best Disney comedies that anybody could ever watch & I may want to watch it again if I want. I will hope to read the book, Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers someday even though I have never read the book. I will be watching Freaky Friday (January 21, 1977) on Disney+ with my Mommy next, & I am going to be watching Freakier Friday (August 8, 2025) later in theaters this summer.
