Well, you gotta hand it to this episode… that’s one way to break the tension. As much as is going on with the Ratliffs, and dear god, it’s a lot. I’m just consistently focused on the three women. Their dynamic this episode reaches an intensity that is only possible because of the building unspoken resentment throughout the season. Jaclyn and Laurie have such different personalities but such similar reactions to conflict. Kate seems like she wants to melt into the background at every opportunity and Leslie Bibb is nailing the discomfort. It’s delicious.
Victoria and Timothy at that monastery are perfect. Incredible that Victoria learned more about it in five minutes than Piper did in planning this entire ruse.
I can’t believe that we’re getting more Sam Rockwell. He’s such a lovely surprise addition to this season and he’s helping me be less frustrated with Rick. The character I enjoy the least, not because he isn’t well written, he is. He’s just written to seemingly intentionally piss me off. Poor Chelsea.
