Being a big fan of the franchise at large, especially 3-6, Dead Reckoning was a meaningless filler gibberish bit that felt written and shot by its own nemesis, AI. Horrendous action sequences, schizophrenic close up shots, gouge your eyes out dialogue all felt unrecognizable to the previous entries. I know what to expect with a Mission Impossible movie and have expectations thusly but this was a different beast. Legitimately it was one of the single worst movies I've sat down to.
