As with Romulus, AE absolutely nails the aesthetic of the Alien universe. Unfortunately, this can't make up for the typical nonsensical plot, idiotic characters, extremely slow pacing (seriously, they had to splice in future shots of action because the initial scenes are so slow), and *sometimes* horrible acting.
