When robotics engineer Gemma becomes the guardian of her orphaned niece, Cady, she thinks her new invention, a robotic AI, will be a good companion. However, M3GAN begins to behave in unexpected and shocking ways.
Chucky finally got an upgrade!!! I'm not going to do any spoilers but I really, really, really enjoyed this film. It was entertaining in all the right places and personally I liked M3gan (I quite possibly need a psychological evaluation but hey🤣). I was extremely impressed with the costume and make-up/prosthetics but the acting was excellent and the young actress that plays physical M3gan was brilliant with very convincing robotic movements. The rest of the cast was enjoyable and they played their respective characters extremely well. This entertaining movie gets straight to the point so it is a nice steady pace that keeps you engaged and not reaching for your own electronic device whilst waiting for the good bits to happen. It also highlights many social cues we have today for example the consequences of what is commonly termed "Ipad babies", when the time to parent gets offloaded onto a machine and the behavioural effects of that when its removed and the kid has to face human emotions. Highly entertaining film and now I must go have a severe talk with my tablet to reinforce those boundaries🤣🤣 (yeah no amount of technology can help lame jokes).
