Whether or not the series continues on (with other agents/teams), "The Final Reckoning" is an absolutely wonderful love letter to all the fans of the franchise. The plot, as always, is ridiculous, but it's easy to set that aside and just bask in all of the action and beautiful locales. And what action it has! Each film in the series has always one-upped the previous for the scale of action involved and this one is no different, including some truly jaw-dropping set pieces. But more than anything else, this manages to tie all of the previous movies together in a beautiful way. There might have been some retconning involved to explain some of those tie-ins, but it worked incredibly well nonetheless. If you've ever enjoyed a Mission Impossible movie, don't pass this one up. See this on the biggest screen you can!
