Blackadder's Christmas Carol

Blackadder's Christmas Carol
In Victorian England, merchant Ebenezer Blackadder is a kind and generous man. He enjoys Christmas-time and is generous with friends and freely gives whatever he can to the poor. That night, he is visited by the Spirit of Christmas who shows him some of his less likeable ancestors. When shown the options for the future, he decides that being bad is the best way forward.

My opinion of the four season history jumping Blackadder series is somewhat mixed. I'm a big fan of Blackadder II (the Elizabethan period) and Blackadder Goes Forth (the Great War), but less so of the other two. This Christmas special falls into the latter category, good entertainment but not as sharp as some other Blackadder offerings.
