Death of a Unicorn is a well made comedy-horror movie with some standout acting. The comedy hits more often than it doesn't. The dynamic between Rudd and Ortega was stale and cliche, which is a significant problem as we spend a lot of the movie focused on their relationship; however, the rest of the quirky cast consistently kept the narrative chaotically entertaining; Will Poulter, in particular, absolutely crushed his role. Yes, there were kills in this. No, they were not particularly creative for a flic in this genre.
