Stay curious cause Friendship just hit all the beats in becoming the best and smartest comedy in years. Just a bro trying to find his bros while juggling adulthood.
It really is difficult making new/maintaining friendships in adulthood and can lead you to do some strange things. Tim Robinson channels a similar offbeat energy of Joaquin Phoenix that feels so realistic. Paul Rudd taps into a mildly mature Brian Fantana. How the two play off each other felt like their actual relationship.
Friendship managed to build up some anxiety like Uncut Gems and the awkward character building of Dream Scenario. A serious sleeper hit.
