Outlining the life of a showgirl who has spent her life doing what she loves. However, this is where the glamour ends. Throughout the movie, Shelly learns that it is not just her career as a showgirl that is coming to an end, but instead, it is ever more apparent that it is the end of an era. The cast does a great job of bringing the viewer into Shelly's shoes through relatable situations and a list of hard times that are a reflection of common themes in life.
