This is one bloody slasher. The violence and gore is striking. Some moments definitely had me wincing in anguish. The two lead performances were really excellent. I just want to note that I watched this while mostly driving yesterday. (Kids don’t try this at home). It’s usually impossible for me to follow subtitled film while I’m also engaged in something else, but this one I really felt the performances shine through. Obviously it helps that there’s not a ton of dialogue, but still. I didn’t love the ending, and I did pretty much guess where it was going. Even so, really impressive looking blood soaked thriller.
