The Boondock Saints

The Boondock Saints
Tired of the crime overrunning the streets of Boston, Irish Catholic twin brothers Conner and Murphy are inspired by their faith to cleanse their hometown of evil with their own brand of zealous vigilante justice. As they hunt down and kill one notorious gangster after another, they become controversial folk heroes in the community. But Paul Smecker, an eccentric FBI agent, is fast closing in on their blood-soaked trail.

If you are looking classic style acting or an emotional breathtaking film, please stop reading and move on nothing to see here! This is a great low budget cheesy action film. Was the acting great (no), was Oscar worthy (no)...This is a simple movie with a simple plot. However it is well worth the time. Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus and Willem Dafoe work very well together. This film takes nothing serious, but it works. Dafoe character seems one that he was born to play (an over the top over acted peace of brilliance).
