I dunno, it feels like 2 movies got blended together, and in order to make it short enough, both plots suffered.
Movie 1 is the Deetzs' family issues and the daughter's boyfriend.
Movie 2 is the Monica Belluci revenge plot. Maybe this was supposed to be the story for third installment but they weren't sure if it would ever happen so they shoehorned it into this bitch.
Both stories don't feel fleshed out enough and both come to abrupt, unsatisfying conclusions.
If you like the original, then you'll probably like this one, if not nearly as much. If you haven't seen the OG, then go watch that first and then decide if you want more (but somehow less.)
