“Wyoming Outlaw” is part of the “Three Mesquiteers” series, with John Wayne sharing the screen as a supporting hero. The story follows a desperate ranch hand pushed into outlawry after corrupt local officials destroy his family. There’s a surprising dose of sympathy for the outlaw, along with a touch of social commentary on poverty and power. It’s not a standout, but if you’re tracking Wayne’s early career or enjoy these fast-paced B-Westerns, it’s worth the hour.
