The Sandman

The Sandman
A wizard attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life traps her younger brother, Dream, instead. Fearful for his safety, the wizard kept him imprisoned in a glass bottle for decades. After his escape, Dream (also known as Morpheus) goes on a quest for his lost objects of power.

The Sandman had potential. The main character is interesting, and the story seems to build toward something worthwhile. Death and Lucifer are solid characters with good depth.
But everything else feels off. The side characters add little to nothing. The show leans too hard into a drag-queen, over-styled vibe that brings no creative value. It’s filled with unnecessary nudity and tries too much to push a feminist and queer agenda, which honestly ruins the show’s potential. And the overall tone feels forced and hollow.
