I just watched this movie after so long, and honestly, it brought back so many memories. I remember watching one of the Jumanji films when I was younger, but I couldn’t recall exactly which one it was. So, I thought I’d give this a try and figure it out along the way.
As the movie began, I quickly realized — nope, this wasn’t the one I’d seen before. The one I watched as a kid was definitely the very first Jumanji. So, this turned out to be a completely new experience for me. And what made it even more special was that I watched it with my mom — after such a long time. I honestly can’t remember the last time we sat down and watched a full movie together.
I’m usually not that into adventure movies, but this time, it was my mom who really wanted to watch one. So, I chose Jumanji: The Next Level, hoping it would be fun for both of us — and I’m so glad I did. We ended up loving it! We laughed, enjoyed the chaos, and even had long, heartwarming conversations after it ended. It was one of those feel-good moments I’ll always cherish.
And of course, my comfort characters were Martha and Spencer. Even when they transformed into Ming and Ruby, I still found them incredibly interesting. But what truly hit different was when Spencer — as Ming — transformed into Dr. Bravestone. That moment shifted everything. Bravestone has always been the ideal — strong, calm, and kind of perfect. Pairing him with Ruby, who has always been my absolute favorite in the game and the whole movie, made every scene feel even more magical. Ruby and Bravestone together? They were just the best. Their chemistry made the movie even more beautiful and unforgettable for me.
Overall, it was a good experience watching this
