From the start, I really didn't care for the plot of this film. I felt like I cared more for the family arc than the main character arc. This wasn't a horrible film. I felt like I would like more lore and context to the island they were on. I really enjoy this franchise but I just wish they can follow more of the book when it comes to how deep they dive into the lore of the world.
