Four Jamaicans form their country's first ever bobsled team to compete in the upcoming 1988 Winter Olympics. They enlist the help of a disgraced former Olympic gold medal winner to reluctantly coach them. However, when they reach Calgary, they're treated as outsiders by the other teams, who fear they'll only succeed in embarrassing the sport.

An inspirational and humorous, but fictional, retelling of the Jamaican's first run at Olympic Bobsledding.
I really enjoy this movie every time I watch it. The premise is ridiculous, the antagonists are over-the-top, and everyone is a caricature, but the acting is great, and the result is charming, humorous, and motivating.
It's technically a sports movie, but it's fun for anyone - even if you've never been to Jamaica or know what a bobsled is. Yo Sanka, you dead mon?
