Four men become shipwrecked on a South Pacific island where a terrorist group developing nuclear weapons has enslaved natives of nearby Infant Island. The only hope of escape lies in Godzilla defeating the terrorists as well as the island's colossal crustacean guardian Ebirah, and Mothra coming to evacuate her people.

Worth it for the giant evil lobster but not much else. The human drama is at times baffling and frustrating, and there is more of it here by far than any of the previous movies up to this point (save maybe Manilla's debut). What's worse, it's boring to tears. The human drama lacks the wonderful silver age aliens, but at least in the all out brawl department Godzilla really lays into Ebirah whenever we do finally cut to the action.
Can be a struggle to get through and is about on par with Godzilla Raids Again (sorry Anguirus) in monotony, but ultimately worth the watch if you're a diehard fan like me.
