It truly feels like found footage from 2004 or so. Everything is so period accurate from the set pieces, clothing and cars down to the lingo and attitude. It's emanating with an early aughts zeitgeist. It's also pretty funny but I feel like my expectations might have been a little too high on that front because Connor is just so hysterical in all of the Tim Robinson sketches. However, I do appreciate how organic the dialogue sounds and I have considered that if the banter were too snappy or if the character's exhibited too much self awareness the film might have felt like a weak charade.
