Robert Eggers is trying his hardest to bring story telling to horror and with each film he moves closer to that perfection. As always with Eggers his artistic flair and period piece is on full display with Nosferatu. This gothic, atmospheric movie hits every target it wants too with precision.
This movie is vicious and violent, don’t let a period piece part make you think otherwise. The horror genre is booming right now and it’s a perfect time for new masters to come along; such as Eggers, Ti West and Ari Aster.
