The Brokenwood Mysteries
Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd is good at his job but bad with relationships. When he comes to the city of Brokenwood to solve a crime he falls in love with it and decides to stay becoming the small community's DSS. At first Shepherd collides with his new colleague Kristin Sims, but they quickly begin to bond.

This is an entertaining show from New Zealand, with all the elements of a good and light TV Police show. The only thing that bothers me is how there can be so much crime in Brokenwood! I think it must be a very dangerous place to live in! Nonetheless, it is worth watching to the end, with interesting characters with their own back stories, a bit of sexual tension and plenty of crimes that remind me a bit of Agatha Christie novels, with twists and unexpected endings.
