Move over 12 Angry Men, you've just been dethroned as the greatest court room drama (not really).
Rarely does a movie make me audibly gasp "WHAT THE FUCK" as many times as A Chinese Tourture Chamber Story did. I do a lot of research to find the most insane troves of wacky film and this may have landed in a top ten.
Ninety seconds in you get various torture sequences which include a dick sliced off into a bowl- not too shocking since I've probably seen this in more films than one should but it set the tone for classic CAT III nastiness. I wasn't prepared for what followed including but not limited to:
•Death by penis explosion
•Man with dong so large he would kill a woman by penetration
•Wuxia softcore- literally sex in the air
•Dude spinning on his dick while penetrating
•Popped titty
•Attempted rape by invisible (literally) man
•Various acts of cringe-inducing torture
If you thought Game of Thrones' walk of shame was gnarly, wait until you witness the wooden donkey ride of shame. My head is spinning after this watch I can't even collect my thoughts. There's a lot of perverted and sometimes grisly scenes but at the same time there's hilarious slapstick nearly spoof-level of comedic sequences. It's a tonal cluster fuck and I loved it.
